ohiogary Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 I have a 2015 mkz and have been getting insert sd card, took it to the dealer and he said it was likely the sd card which was a A6 card, he ordered a new one I picked the card up the other day a new A10 card, came home inserted and still same message on display, anyone have any ideas would be appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
drolds1 Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 If you're getting the same message with a new card, then it's likely a hardware problem. You may have bad connection or a failing media hub. Did a tech give you this advice or a service advisor? It doesn't sound like any troubleshooting was done. ohiogary Posted January 12, 2020 Author Share Posted January 12, 2020 No they didnt give any advice, I tried rebooting , and after talking to the girlfriend she said the usb ports are'nt working either , But the cig. plug worked, so I pulled the module out to check wiring connections and everything seemed plugged in, notice a sticky substance , on the module.possibly a spilled drink Next step searching around for a used Module tomorrow and hopefully this will take care of it Dyan 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
