All Season Floor Mats

Anyone have any recommendations for all-season floor mats (for a 2019)? I'm leaning toward Weathertech (mainly because I can get them in a tan color, as opposed to the Lincoln ones that only come in black). But I'd be interested in any ideas or experiences. Lots of snow and slush where I live (upstate NY). Thanks.

I have had the Lincoln ones on my 2013 & 2014 MKZh, No longer live in snowy states but they are great for sand and mud too.

I have had weathertech on other cars, so I was a big fan of them when I lived on Long Island,

Hi Drake. For those who don't want to use the Lincoln all-weather mats, WeatherTech and Husky seem to be the two favorites.

Good luck.

I have the OEM Lincoln all weather mats, but was really disappointed with the drivers mat, that is a pathetic all weather mat (It's small).  I replaced the front mats with 3D MAXpider mats, and think that they are the best of the bunch.  It has a texture to it, and is not simply a rubber mat, and it looks pretty good.  But I always preferred Husky over Weathertech due to driver left dead pedal area and passenger side coverage, both in my Fusion (old car) and truck.  The rear mats are pretty much the same coverage wise for all of the brands.

I guess it's about time to put them back in...

Those look really nice.  Lincoln revised the all-weather mats from the ones I think you're talking about.  They are now similar to aftermarket mats. They came with my 2017 and give much better coverage than the ones I had in my 2014.  The set for the back even has an extension to cover the center tunnel.  Still only in black, however.

The Lincoln mats that I have came with my 18,  just not happy with the drivers mat at all, the passenger side mat is fine though.  I'm using the Lincoln rear mats though, they cover just as well as any aftermarket brand, or better, as the rear mats split in two for storage.  The Lincoln logo covering the hump is a nice touch too.  Aftermarket rear mats usually come as one piece.

Luckily, the 3D MAXpider front mats were available separately from the rears.  I was initially planning on buying the Husky Liners, but did not want to buy a full set.  I only wanted the drivers mat (or front pair) replaced.  Husky doesn't sell the front mats by themselves, that's when I came across the 3D MAXpider mats.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I'm kind of leaning toward the Weathertech mats rather than the liners, just because I like the deeper channels in those. But I must admit those MAXpider liners look really sharp and look like they fit really well.

  • 3 weeks later...

I don't know how much the 2019 floorpan differs from the 2014, but I went with the Weathertech mats for the first winter in my 2014, and in the spring I had to do a lot of carpet cleaning, mostly around the gas pedal and dead pedal.

Since then I've been using the Husky liners and I'm happy with the fit and coverage. When I compared pictures online before buying, the Husky liners seemed to have better coverage than the Weathertech liners.

I hadn't seen the MAXpider liners before, and they do look nice. From the picture they seem to have better coverage than the Huskys around the dead pedal and under the brake pedal, but a little less coverage around the gas pedal.

I had Weathertechs for just a week, then returned them for the Husky Liners because they have much better coverage. I should have researched this better, because it cost me $50 to switch. I did however keep the Weathertech trunk liner.
