The forums are divided into sub-forums that deal with technical questions about the MKZ. Therefore, your post is being moved to an appropriate section. In answer to your question, besides the 1-st-gem MKZ, the 3.5L Duratec was used in the 1st=gen Fusion Sport, some Ford Tauruses, Ford TaurusX, some Mercury Sables, Ford Flex, some Ford Explorers, Mazda CX-9, and 2015-2017 F-150. If I were you, I'd stick with one from the same year MKZ or Fusion. While other models may have used the same engine, there may be subtle differences with wiring harnesses, PCM, etc that could cause compatibility problems.
