Chris109
Is there a need to keep these in the car nowadays? You can now buy a small battery pack that will start a car, and also I think you can jump a car by going to the cigarette lighter.

If you have or plan to purchase a jump starter battery pack (and can remember to keep it charged and in the car), there is no need for jumper cables. If you do not, then jumper cables are always a nice insurance policy. ? Let us know what you decide to do. And if you purchase one, what type of jump starter battery pack you go with. Good luck. R2D2
Jumper cables are always in mine, not for me but to help someone stuck. I do have a "Jump" Box also but it stays in the garage, like bbf2530 said, you have to remember to charge it once in a while
