Zalvern
I have attached the 2020 MKZ Order Guide, courtesy of ice-capades on the Blue Oval Forums. Quick summary: New paint options over retiring ones: Empire Blue Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (L3) Magma Red Clearcoat (E2) Red Carpet Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (D4) Silver Radiance Clearcoat (JS) Some package options have changed around. A new Monochromatic Package that gets a unique wheel and grille appearance. Limited to Reserve trim with only Infinite Black or White Metallic paint jobs. MKZ made no cut backs or downgrades compared to 2019 from what I could see. A carry over year as expected till the inevitable return of Zephyr. 2020 Lincoln MKZ Order Guide.pdf
Airflow
Monochromatic Package is interesting to see. Are they blacking out all of the chrome trim or is it just painting the grill the same color as the rest of the car? I am excited to see a new wheel design. Blackhawk
Looks similar to what they describe for the magnetic package so guessing it's just the grill and not the surround.
drolds1
So, now if I want the multi-contour seats that were part of the Driver's Sport Package in my 2017, I'll have to order the Luxury package to get them. Another money grab like they did with the LED headlights in 2017 which had been standard equipment for 2013-2016. R2D2
Blackhawk
Looks like the Mono's are on lots, I'm not sure I like the gloss black wheels. I was thinking about picking up a set for my magnetic gray but I think matte black may be a better choice. drolds1 and Zalvern 1
Zalvern
Thanks for sharing those pictures. Someone must be slacking with Lincoln's website as it still does not have the 2020 Vehicle Configuration up and running for the MKZ. Yet here they are, arriving on lots. I was hoping the package would at least paint the calipers again, but looks like they do not. 4 years ago around November's Los Angeles Auto Show was when the 2017 MKZ revealed. Here's hoping this upcoming Auto Shows will reveal the future of this car for 2021.
Airflow
They need to put more effort in than this. This isn’t going to sell. What’s the point? To not paint the calipers is silly. And they should have done something with the chrome trim.
Smokestone10
Works pretty nicely on a dark colored car, but even then I think I'd still want coated aluminum finish wheels.
