Airflow
I have been waiting for this announcement. I just wonder if this is a replacement for the MKC alone or also for the MKZ.

Airflow
That’s what I have read as well, but with the 2020 MKZ in theory to be released this year they need to announce a plan to continue as is, refresh it, or scrap it soon. Hopefully that is discussed in New York as well.
Zalvern
Once NYIAS begins, more 2020 MY vehicle information should open up. There are quite a few vehicles I really want to know the order bank options for. Corsair sounds cool for a name just like Aviator, and more ideal for those of us not needing the large space of the Aviator/Explorer line. Though I do not expect it to get any powerful engine trims like the 3.0 or 2.7 as its always stuck with just the 2.3/2.0 engines. Unless maybe it gets the Hybrid GT dose too? MKZ...if it lives on, well I hope it does.
Airflow
I like the Corsair name too. Imagine that size vehicle with the 450 hp GT powertrain! That would be a missile.
Zalvern
https://www.motor1.com/news/313837/2020-cadillac-ct5-revealed/ The rival has appeared. Hmm
Airflow
The CT5 looks okay from the front, but goes all wrong towards the rear with that odd kink in the window trim. I hear what you are saying about a rival though. Let’s see if Lincoln surprise counters in NY.

Ever since I heard about the exclusive Blackwing V8 engine (and don't expect it to be exclusive to just the CT6-V forever), I was charmed with the idea it may show up in future models like the new CT5 as top tier performance. But then comes the side and rear (which just looks to be imagined from the CT6-V redesign), and it just falls apart in interest for me. One thing is for certain: The MKZ will be around for 2020 MY, as well the Fusion too. But I do not expect any changes except maybe, some new paint colors. Edit Update: Order banks are estimated to open around May 14th for both the MKZ and Fusion. Edited April 2, 2019 by Zalvern
Zalvern
? The Plebs' Corsair is revealed: Well...It looks more aerodynamically friendly to drive? I mean nice to see the box look gone. Definitely give Ford credit for the space improvement. But main dislike: Well the front, it's got this goofy grin I cannot unsee. Not to mention I can see people calling this thing "cute" now that I look at it more. I know my mother and/or sister would probably like it (Meaning nope, not for me). Nice features though, as I'm surprised it got a HUD option. This excites me for the Corsair reveal though, to hopefully nail it like the Aviator did all around but on this platform size level.
