First, have you read your Owners Manual concerning proper use of the key? Instructions for the fob and key begins on page 53. That being said, we are kind of working with a lack of information, but here goes: We can not be sure if the fob and contained key you do have is one of the two original factory fobs (one that the original owner got when they purchased the car). If it was an original factory fob, the key should operate the door locks. If it does not operate the door locks, then it would seem it is a replacement which was never cut. If the key is not working properly, you should point this out to the Dealer you purchased from and have them correct the situation. Let us know what you find out and good luck. k9frog Posted February 22, 2019 Author Share Posted February 22, 2019 Boy i feel like a jerk,I just tried the key that i have and it does lock and unlock the drives side door, The issue was the key is very hard to turn,Its like there is a very strong spring inside the lock, But the key does work, Im going to re read the owners manual and see what we can learn Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
