john6
Hello I am looking at buying a 16 MKZ AWD reserve. I can get the 2.0 with about 7k less miles than a 3.7 for the same price. What should I do? I will only be keeping the car for 3 years, 40k miles max. Thanks you
1984Poke
Get the Z with the 2.0L engine. Unless you’re just really into high horsepower cars, you’ll find the 2.0 engine has more than enough horses and it will get a little better gas mileage to boot. john6
Thank you for the reply. There haven’t been problems with the turbo? I only ask bc when I sell it in a few years, I don’t want that to b a drawback of someone buying it.
1984Poke
Honestly, I don’t know the answer to that question, john6, so I will have to defer to someone else with more knowledge in that area than I have. Sorry, and good luck!

Mileage is fair to poor around town. Ok on highway. Robert Iggy Cerami
Under200
Would say that if you like the 4cyc go for it. If thinking about the 6 I would go for a 2017 and get the upgraded 3.0 twin turbo. More powerful than the 3.7 and better mpg. I average between 22 and 23 with my 3.0t driving 75% hwy. good luck on any choice. If and is not important to you you may even consider the hybrid, 40 mpg
Blackbr
I bought the 4 with FWD. No regrets. 1984Poke
