jm98
Looking in to getting suspensions replaces as MKZh seems to hit small potholes and I can feel it. Like to see if Fusion sports suspensions would worth considering?

Are these same as Fusion OEM parts? Hi jm. It would help everyone help you if you can be a little more specific as to what you are looking for. Shocks/struts, sway bar replacements, suspension bushing replacements...etc? Also, how many miles are on your car and how many miles are on the tires? Are they the factory tires? Worn tires can have quite a degenerative affect on ride. And as an FYI: The MKZ has a smoother ride than the Fusion. If you are looking to replace suspension parts because you are feeling small potholes, I assume you want something smoother and softer riding? If yes, you would not want to replace your MKZh suspension pieces with Fusion Sport Suspension pieces .Even if they are compatible, they would be stiffer and you would feel the potholes more. In my opinion, you should stick with MKZh suspension parts, not Fusion parts. Fusion parts would not make your MKZ ride smoother. Get back to us with that additional information and good luck. R2D2
I have always found that the standard rim size gives the softest ride which is why I never upgrade to optional (larger rims) jm98

Hi There, Its been a while here. I am specifically looking at struts and possibly suspension bushing replacement as well. My MKZh has 81K miles now. I am feeling small potholes that I should not when driving at lower speed. I guess then I will need to use OEM Lincoln parts. Not sure if OEM Lincoln are any good as mine has been like this from 55K miles. I would not want to use sports shocks if it's not compatible. Looking to see direct replacement. rubyinla
dang, those shocks are not cheap. Hate to see what the dealer want's for them. Get your wife a second job ? https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/lincoln,2014,mkz,2.0l+l4+electric/gas,3298534,suspension,shock+absorber,7556T https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2014/lincoln/mkz/suspension/shock_absorber.html https://www.carid.com/2014-lincoln-mkz-suspension-parts/?filter=1&sub-model[DriveTypeName][]=FWD+(Front+Wheel+Drive) Your front struts aren't going to be any cheaper either: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/lincoln,2014,mkz,2.0l+l4+electric/gas,3298534,suspension,strut,7584 i just used these guys for rear KYB shocks for my wife's Flex. Unfortunately it look like they aren't available, nor are Monroe's. All because they can be tuned by the computer. Corvettes had the same feature and very expensive shocks. Aftermarket shops came along and marketed adapters so you could put in regular shocks. At any rate, get an install price from your mechanic. Had my mechanic install them for me for around $125 iirc. My KYB's were $53. Edited December 6, 2018 by rubyinla

jm98
Got it installed rear ones this week. Ride was noticeably different. I think my OEM front/back are not in prime working conditions since I purchased it at 50K miles.
