504tallguy
For the last week or so, the time has been changing on the clock in my 15 Hybrid. I'm beginning to suspect maybe the battery is acting up. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? I'll reset it manually then when the car sits overnight, it will 20-30-60 mins off. Thanks. R2D2
Maybe a minute or two over 2-3 months but nothing how you are describing your issue.... even when my battery was dying ?
jm98
Mine is 4 minutes off. Looks like time for new 12v battery.. Like to get someone's opinion on this to see if new battery will address the clock issue. Edited October 1, 2018 by jm98
R2D2
The new battery is in mine for the last few months and clock still loses time by a few minutes over that period. IOW - No change with the new battery
reverendalc
i just set my dash clock to match my phone two weeks ago (i recall specifically, because i set many clocks to match my phone on that day). i had a teleconference today at 11am, which i usually do in the comfort of my car... when the dash said 10:56, i pulled my phone out to dial in. 11:01. god dammit. the struggle is real
KenZ
I am not sure of your model year, but I an MKC with Sync 2 and MKZ with Sync 3, both of them have the ability to synchronize the clock to the GPS time. Do you have that turned on in the clock settings?
reverendalc
i'll have to doublecheck that, i don't recall seeing that setting when i pored over all the settings initially. i am sync2, but the bluetooth support is lacking and i'm considering the sync3 swap.
