aceuvspades
I have a flat tire on my rear driver side of my 2013 MKZ 4cyl tech package 19" wheels. I cannot find the jack point to lift that wheel off the ground. The owners manual is vague enough that it didn't give me any help. Looking underneath I cannot find anything that looks like a jack point and feeling around nothing feels strong enough. Do I have to remove a panel or something to get to the jack point? thanks for your help.

I downloaded the 2013 manual and referring to #'s 9 and 10 on page 324: "9. The vehicle jacking points are shown here (there is an illustration in the manual, as I assume you saw), and are depicted on the yellow warning label on the jack. Note: Jack at the specified locations to avoid damage to the vehicle. 10. Small arrow-shaped marks on the sills show the location of the jacking points." I went out and looked at my MKZ. The arrow is there, but is on the underside of the body panel and hard to see. It was actually easier to feel it. Run your fingers on the underside of the body panel and you can feel the slightly raised arrow, about 10" (?) ahead of the wheel well. It is raining here, so I did not have time to measure more accurately. The place to put the jack will be just inboard of the arrow. Locate the scissor, which is on top of the jack, onto the metal ridge running longitudinally on the underside of the car, as depicted in the diagram on page 324. Hope this helps. Let us know and good luck. Edited September 9, 2018 by bbf2530 R2D2
