Chris109
Ok. I test drove a used 2017 hybrid today. Some things felt different. Hard to really explain. Has anyone made that jump in model years? Anyone noticed any differences? One thing I did notice was the seat controllers. When engaging front/back/up/down, there is a slight hesitation between the time I hit the button (click) and the actual maneuver. The 2013 was instantaneous. Normal for the new model? Just wondering if there are any major changes. Salesman kept saying that if there were any problems, it was still under warranty for a year or two. Not very reassuring. But then, he's selling Beemers.

easyrider
The movement of the seat should be instantaneous, when pressing the directional switch, no delay whatsoever. Maybe a bad relay or loose connection. You mentioned something felt different upon test driving a 2017 Hybrid? In comparison to a 2013 MKZ Hybrid? Hard to understand what you are comparing, eg ride quality, performance, quietness, general handling characteristics, etc etc etc. : )
Chris109
Thanks for that seat suggestion. I did notice when I was checking over the car that some technician had left the LAUNCH code reader connector in the OBD 11 port. The front right tire pressure monitor was faulty. It had no reading on the display. If I do take the 17 out again, I really should just do it without a Beemer salesman riding along constantly talking to me about what Lincolns have.
