biziness
My amp went out right as I past warranty. They are talking $1500 for replacement.... Thats nuts considering the THX sound int all that. I do need to find an amp #FT5Z18B49B. Does anyone know how I can get my hands on a used or discounted unit? Or even who repairs them? Thanks a lot

biziness
I think you are right. The lady at service miswrote the number. The right part is FP5Z-18B849-B

If that is the correct part number, it looks like you can purchase the amplifier for about $525 or so and replace it yourself. Better than $1,500. Keep us updated and good luck.
