I don't see any footwell entry lights on my 13 mkz. Are there any? If not where can I tap into the dome light output to add some.

I had a 2013 MKZ (but traded it in on a 2017).  From what I remember, there was an ambient lighting system that was turned on and controlled thru the settings menu on the center stack screen.  I am not sure if was an option or if you have it, but you may see it if you look thru the menus.  It definitely had footwell lights as well as some other lighting in the doors. It was fairly low lighting and was on all the time when it was it was dark.

On my 13 Zh, I can adjust the intensity of the ambient lighting.  Cool colors too. 

 

I just wish there was a way to dim the dashboard even more than it is.  Off would be great.

Same here.  My 2014 had ambient lighting, which includes footwell lighting.  I can't say if a car without ambient lighting has any footwell lights.

I know I have ambient lighting. But i want to add a lincoln logo puddle light on each footwell. I only want it to come on with the dome lights. Like footwell lights would.
