While the updates are not usually earth shattering, you can't go by the version numbers. They are simply chronological identifiers. If A11 is ever released, it will simply be "GM5T-19H449-AE". And any eventual A12 would be "GM5T-19H449-AF". I'm not saying buying A10 will be a great update and is or is not worth the cost. Simply pointing out that the latest version number itself does not tell us anything about what it contains or how up to date it actually is (or isn't). Good luck. Just a suggestion: If you do not use your factory NAV system now and are only looking to get the new NAV card "for future resale", do not bother buying the current update. Wait until you are selling your car and buy the newest/future update at that time. Why spend the money now when here will be a newer NAV update available in a year or two? As I said, just a suggestion. Something else to think about...If/when you sell your car in the future to a private party, it is very questionable as to whether having the newest NAV card will get you back what you spent for the card. Just having your current NAV card installed so that the NAV system operates will suffice. And if you are trading-in your car to a Dealer in the future, do not even bother keeping the NAV system card updated, as it will not enhance your trade-in value at all.
