geno4952
I have a 2007 MKZ and both passenger and driver side rockers are completely rusted out from rear wheel well to the back of the front doors. I have looked high and low for replacement rockers but can find nothing. Even a friend that owns a body shop couldn't find anything. Anybody have any ideas? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I don't mean to question your friends expertise, but until another member here jumps in, the only recommendation I can think of is to ask another body shop if they can find the parts you are seeking. If they can't, I would have to assume they are not available. Let us know how you make out and good luck Edited April 10, 2018 by bbf2530
bbf2530
Hi again geno. Did some quick Googling of "2007 Lincoln MKZ rocker panels" and can come up with multiple availability. Give it a try and let us know how you make out.
drolds1
First I've heard of this but according to this seller on ebay, the rocker panels for a 2007 Fusion and MKZ are the same. The former are available from lots of sources. Also 2006-2012 should be the same. Edited April 10, 2018 by drolds1
Smokestone10
If you want the factory part, you can only get part of the rocker- the rear third or so, which comes with the entire rear quarter. And they're about 1200 bucks. So.... yeah. I'm thinking of ordering a set of aftermarket rockers to see how they look, as my '10 has a few nasty bubbles in the rockers. The aftermarket pieces are the entire rocker and cost less than 100 from what I see online.
