tmf2004
After joining the Lincoln FB group a member had posted opening his trunk with his foot on an older 2015 MKZ. There is a button by the license plate.. Well i do have that but what i don't have is the automatic trunk open and close.. I believe i have the base model MKZ. i have no Nav, no sunroof etc.. Was this a feature in the other models except Base model? ITs not a big deal but a nice convenience to have.
drolds1
How does one open the trunk of an MKZ with their foot? The electric trunk opener was not available on the base model. You had to upgrade to at least the Reserve model.
crushalot
How does one open the trunk of an MKZ with their foot? The older models had the trunk open button on the top ridge of the license plate frame and you could open it by skillfully touching with your foot. On the 17 they moved the button up so you can use your hand without bending over.

When it was wet and dirty, I just used the fob to open the trunk on my '14. It never occurred to me to try and hit the button with my foot, nor would I have tried to had I known about it. :nonono:

I will consider that in a few years.. I needed something with a cheaper payment for a few years... I do miss NAV and Rear View Camera..
