dwonder
It's been kinda quiet lately. Was wondering what / if people named their MKZ's? Mine is a black 2017 The car itself is named Maria. The name of the Sync 3 system is Gideon, like from Flash / Legends of Tomorrow ;-) jmcgliss and JoeBrown 1

MKZMark
Interesting topic. I had a co-worker who names/anthropomorphizes her cars. She had a Jetta diesel that was under the emissions recall which basically made it a $20K savings account, and when she finally turned it in for the cash she cried. I don't name them, but somehow feel that when I do maintenance the car appreciates it, like if I take care if it it will take care of me. jerm53 and 1984Poke

jimflutes
My mother told me up to her dying day ," If there is any money left after the house is sold , please spend it on something that makes you happy ". So I did , and the 2013 z and now the 2016 z with the name Rose have made me happy , just like she always did. dwonder, Black Ice MKZ, R2D2 and 7 others 8

Drwilsc
Haven’t named the MKZ, but I’m thinking about an Alfa Romeo for my next car, and that car will probably be named ‘Julia’ (original, I know). Airflow and jmcgliss 1
Black Ice MKZ
2015 V6 AWD name is Black Ice MKZ for a few reasons: 1)I am known as Black Ice LSC on Mark VIII forums...and have been active since 2003 when I bought my first Mark VIII = a 1994 Black/Black one. I've had 6 mark VIII's through the years. I have "been around" as they say, and forgot more about them than most will ever know. 2) My username has sort of become my identity through various forums for 15 years...my Youtube channel, emails, etc. 3) when I saw the metallic flake in the Tuxedo Black, it was obvious I should just morf my original user-name and add the MKZ, as the paint literally looks like it has ice crystals in it when in direct sun. 4)plus at my age, it will be easy to remember my username (lol) Airflow

I restored a '73 Alfa Spider 2000 years ago...her name was "Sprout". My friend's dad when i was growing up had a Giulietta spider and her license plate was "ROMEO N"....Romeo n Giuletta Airflow
drolds1
Welcome, Black Ice! I've always been a fan of the Marks 7 & 8. My son had an 86 LSC and a 98 LSC. Airflow
Black Ice MKZ
they are very closely related to the MKZ as a driver and for all the latest bells and whistles. The Mark VIII had so many "firsts" for the industry. IMHO, the MKZ fits the bill for a sophisticated machine that pleases the driver with power/performance, handling, driver-satisfaction, luxury, style and over-all design. the MKZ is more reposnsive, but the lower back TORQUE when getting on the freeway is nearly identical, except we have more forward gears. MPG is about the same. Airflow

Smokestone10
I haven't come up with a name for mine yet, though I've had a few cars in the past that had a nickname. Most recently, a Subaru Impreza called Snowball. For now I just call her "my blue collar dream realized". But that's a bit ponderous, no? ? Zondedo
It’s embarrassing but my wife has a name for all our cars. I refused to recognize some of them because they’re kind of gay. She calls the 442 blueberry…?. Our 2019 MKZ has the white tri-coat metallic option for exterior paint and the cappuccino interior so she calls it coco for coconut….
