I don't want one that's been sitting around for a while. It's highly unlikely that a BL is in a dealer's inventory. Maybe if there was a cancellation. The MKZ that I ordered with above options is still waiting for an allocation, and I could have it built and delivered within 4-6 weeks at the latest. Or they are offering a car on their lot (just arrived recently), It's a Black Velvet BL, with all of my above options and also the Technology Package included. And I could have the Black Z for the same price as my ordered Blue Z. It's the color that's my concern, I'm not crazy about getting it in black. I had a black car once.....once... I have 2 BL dealers near me and I've never seen a BL in inventory except for my daughter- in-law's BL MKC, and they practically gave that away. Yes, black can be an issue if you're a fanatic. But nothing looks better when it's clean. I had two black cars. I didn't learn my lesson after the first one. I guess after 11 years, the memories faded. ;) You have some soul searching to do. And I think this one was ordered for stock, not sure though. It showed up just after I placed my order. This Black Velvet is being offered to me because - I found out that the dealership is being bought out by a larger dealership group, and this is taking place in about a week. I guess it's better for them to sell it for a loss rather than passing it on to the new dealership group. It's just dumb luck timing for me, I guess. I will probably call them right now, they said they would clean it up and let me come out and look at it...and you know what that means. :smokin: Figure I was getting X plan pricing, plus $2,000 in incentives on my build. And now over $2600 in free options (Tech Package, all weather floor mats, and cargo net). Seems like a deal that I almost can't pass up. I love the blue, but it's almost as bad as a black car, with the dust and swirls, but I am kinda used to it I guess. Now I saw the Rhapsody Blue MKZ, and in the sun it pops blue, but in the shade or at night, it almost looks black. I have tons of car cleaning 'stuff', so I guess either way I'll be busy. It’s a major purchase and if you are connected to the blue one on order already you might want to stick with it. However, if you value the additional options and look of the BL interior you may want to pull the trigger on it. Both colors are great and either way you can’t lose. (Black Velvet Z) It took a bit of tweaking, but we finally worked out a deal on the Black Velvet BL, with every option available. Thursday Delivery: The Lincoln MKZ Brochure which I had requested a few weeks ago. It was printed with my name on the cover and a $750 Private Cash Offer, so that added another $750 onto the already $2000 incentives. It's unbelievable that this arrived the day before I was picking it up. The dealer found another $1000 Incentive that I was able to add on top of the others, so all Incentives totaled $3750. :clapping: I can't believe there was that much available, and I am blown away with the deal that I drove away with. Loving the car so far, so here are some pictures. It's not a great day for photography, but here ya go. My old car and my new car, meeting for the first time.
