robertlane
LINCOLN MKZ CLUB Dearborn, Michigan The Lincoln Motor Company has approved the establishment of the Lincoln MKZ Club and the Lincoln MKZ Forum will be its home! :love_shower: What we're now working on is the official club logo and would like your feedback in what it should look like and what elements it should encompass. If you're savvy with Photoshop, we might even want to post a design proposal for everyone to see and consider. Next, we're going to determine what kind of membership the club will offer as well as the added benefits. Once again, we're asking YOU what you would like to see? What added website features would you like to see? THE Lincoln MKZ Club event will be held this year here in Dearborn, Michigan and we're going to have some fun! For starters Lincoln MKZ Club members will be able to participate in a behind the scenes tour of the Ford Proving Ground! To top that off, you'll actually be able to take your Lincoln MKZ on the track itself. :worship: While we be announcing more details surrounding this event soon, so stay tuned. This event will proudly benefit the JDRF. Welcome to the Lincoln MKZ Club! We're glad that you're part of the MKZ and Lincoln community. :victory: LincolnMKZClub.org Edited February 26, 2014 by robertlane michaelinokc

1984Poke
I look forward to learning more about this and I'm glad to learn of this group's formation. robertlane
robertlane
Right now, the MKZ pool is a smaller group of owners, but there's a lot of passion amongst owners, which warrants its own club. Once we get this club going, we'll inspire more people to join and and others to take a closer look at the MKZ.

robertlane
Here's an example of the potential club logo - thoughts? I think it needs more work - beveled edges with some metal effects thrown in. 1984Poke
Looks nice. I might recommend spacing out the capital letters for "LINCOLN" just a bit. They appear to be a bit crowded together and if you spaced them out just a littie, you wouldn't have quite so much white space between it and the "LincolnMKZClub.org" letters. Just a thought . . . . robertlane

Some thoughts of my own... :) 1. Instead of placing "MKZ" in the center, move it to the outside "ring" to make it "LINCOLN MKZ CLUB". 2. Use the latest Lincoln font for the "LINCOLN MKZ CLUB" lettering. 3. Increase the size of the Lincoln "star" to fill in the center of the logo. 4. Reduce the font size of "LincolnMKZClub.org", or delete it all together. I have never seen a club logo with a URL on it before, as URLs can change. If deleted, expand "LINCOLN" around the top half, and "MKZ CLUB" around the lower half. I like this idea best, because, as we all know, less is more! :) (Look up the Mustang Club of America logo as an example.) 5. Make the background color black, with silver and/or (insert color here) lettering. The End. :whistling:

keo1050
If you could come up with some flyers in the future that we could print out; I would be more than willing to distribute to my three local Lincoln dealers. robertlane

robertlane
My other club has had the URL in its logo since 2001. We want people to look it up. That's such a classic logo. I remember when that club launched! :) If you can get me the LLSOC logo, we can put it on the side of this site.
