TRuMKZ
3.0 awd fitment is really tight on the rear shock you need a 35mm offset to sit just right, otherwise you may hit the strut. I installed rotiform ccv wheels and love them! I have a set of hr springs I may be installing after winter that should drop it perfectly. I do get minor rubbing on the front when making a u turn but it does not bother me. It rubs on the plastic inner fender when making a full turn ever so slightly. I have 20x8.5 35mm with 245-45-20 Out lug pattern is 5x108 and we have 14mm x1.5 lugs that are torque in very tight! Izzy3906
Nice set of wheels, can't wait to see the drop. Enjoy them.
jmcgliss
I really like those wheels with the 2017. A well-dressed Lincoln.
elijahbird7
Really great looking wheels. I think Lincoln is really going in the wrong direction in their wheel options in the last few years.
FunktasticLucky
I'm not a huge fan of the Black Label wheels and I'll probably be looking for a different set myself. Though if you went 245/45R20's that an entire 1 inch larger diameter in your tires... You should have dropped the ratio down a tad to 245/40R20 to be the same size as the stock tire. Other than that I think the wheels look pretty clean. Does anyone know the actual stock Wheel dimensions and offset by chance? I'll definitely be looking at purchasing new wheels. Unfortunately/fortunately I just spent my wheel money on an intercooler soooo. Gonna have to wait until next year.
Alex Castillo
Well... The stock tires are 245/40R19 (at least on my 2017 Lincoln Reserve 3.0 FWD) According to tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator, going to 245/45R20 increases the whole wheel/tire set diameter from 26.7" to 28.7". That's one inch larger in radius (not diameter) Does it really fit??? This reflects what TRuMKX did: www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1=245-40-19X8ET55&wheel2=245-45-20X8ET35&fcl=50mm&scl=50mm&wcl=30mm&sr=0mm I'd just like to go to 245/45R19 tires, keeping the stock wheels. That would increase the wheel/tire set diameter from 26.7" to 27.7". That's only half inch larger in radius. This reflects what I want to do: www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1=245-40-19X8ET55&wheel2=245-45-19X8ET55&fcl=50mm&wcl=30mm&scl=50mm&sr=0mm So, If our friend TRuMKZ was able to go a full inch increase in radius with just slightly rubs on the plastic inner fender when making U turns, I suppose I will be on the safe side going to 245/45R19s. I'm looking into these tires: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Pilot+Sport+A%2FS+3%2B+(W-+or+Y-Speed+Rated)&partnum=445YR9PSAS3PL&fromSurvey=true https://www.discounttiredirect.com/buy-tires/vogue-custom-built-radial-viii (just check the proper size: 245/45R19) Do you think I could have some problem hitting any strut by changing the tire size? (I'm not planning to change my wheels, just my tires) Any other advise / suggestion? Thank you! FunktasticLucky: According to www.wheel-size.com/size/lincoln/mkz/2017/#trim-30gtdi-usdm-350, at least mine has stock wheels as follows: That is: Wheel Width: 8" Wheel Diameter: 19" (in my case), Offset (ET): 55 mm Lug Pattern: 5x108 Tires: 245/40R19 94V (in my case) TRuMKZ: Very nice car! Mine is black Edited August 5, 2019 by Alex Castillo
bbf2530
Hi Alex. You already have this question posted in the "Wheels and Tires" sub-forum. Normally we would lock a double post, but in this case it would not be fair to the OP (even thought the thread is old). However, please do not double post questions in the future. It makes it hard for people to help you if replies and information wind up posted in multiple threads.

To me they are among the nicest no-extra-cost wheels around, in polished aluminium with dark-painted pockets. Most other cars' standard wheels are dull looking silver-painted. Treewolf00
I heard, 2nd hand mine you, that Lincoln can void your transmission warranty if you change rims. Was told that someone's warranty was voided with the reason that the rims he got were to heavy and that's what caused his transmission to go bad. Any auto manufacturer can/may deny warranty coverage (for related issues) if we use any aftermarket parts that are not OEM spec. So in the case of wheels, a warranty claim could be denied if you use wheels that are larger than the largest offered from the factory. For example: The current MKZ is offered with 18" and 19" wheels. So if an MKZ owner was to install 20-21-22" wheels etc, Lincoln could deny warranty claims for suspension and/or transmission issues. The reason? The larger diameter (and/or width) wheels put higher stress loads on both the suspension and transmission. This does not mean a warranty claim will definitely be denied. In fact, my guess would be denied claims would be rare and most claims would be honored. But it is something to keep in mind, as with all aftermarket modifications. Good luck.
