2014 (Certified) Lincoln MKZ – 3.7 AWD  - 41,000 Miles – Sterling Grey Exterior & Charcoal (Black) Interior

We are selling our MKZ as we would simply prefer a larger vehicle. We have been very happy during our ownership of this MKZ, as it has given us a lot of luxury for the money. The car has an existing OEM warranty until 50K, and is certified through Ford/Lincoln until 100k thereafter. The warranty is transferable to the new owner and is accepted at Lincoln/Ford Dealers. This is a great luxury car to drive in style without attracting too much attention or increasing your budget, all the while, having peace of mind with an OEM warranty and coverage with Lincoln customer service.

Options/Function:

The car is well-equipped with a variety of safety and tech options (see sticker below). Adaptive cruise, lane keeping assist, blind-spot warning, collision warning and assist, and front & rear parking aids. In addition to these safety features, the car has Lincoln’s CCD (computer controlled dampening) suspension, which adjusts to road conditions in real time, keeping the ride comfortable on rough roads.  When in Sport Mode, the CCD system alters the dampers to a firm/stiff setting, in addition to a firm steering mode and aggressive throttle mapping.  The modes allow for what feels like two very different cars at the push of a button. This car is also equipped with a panoramic roof and auto slide cover. This brings light into the cabin and enhances the cabin feel, a $3k option. Other standard amenities you would expect from a luxury car are included – Bluetooth, noise cancellation, power /heated/cooled/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, Navigation, MyLincoln Touch, and dual-zone climate control. The audio system is THX and plays crystal clear with minimal distortion, even when maxed. Driving the car at night with the dynamic LED headlights and color-selectable interior ambient lighting enhances the driving feel. Headlights dip and turn with you while navigating the roads. Finally, the car has the 19” painted wheel package, which complements the grey exterior color nicely. Overall, the options on this car provide for an exceptional driving experience each and every time you are behind the wheel.

Condition:

This car has 34k and we are the second owners. The tires were replaced when we purchased the vehicle and the car needs nothing at this time. The exterior and interior show signs of minimal wear, nothing worth noting (smoker-free car, no rips, tears, scratches, etc.) We wash, clean and detail the car regularly.

Driving and modifications:

The car is equipped with window tint on sides and rear windshield, a “stubby” antenna, and a Steeda Performance rear sway bar. The rear emblems have also been professionally removed from the rear, giving the car a clean and minimalist look from behind. The sway bar is marginally stiffer than the OE part and provides for increased cornering stability and reduced body roll with no adverse effects to comfort. I can swap over back to stock or provide the OEM sway bar with sale. Overall, the car drives well and handles exceptionally with the ease and convenience of great comfort. The 3.7 V6 (shared with the Mustang) has 300hp and is more than adequate, with plenty of torque down low for easy passing and spirited driving. You rarely find the need to give this car all it’s got because it accelerates with ease and cruises well on the highway. The subtle engine and exhaust notes give it a piece of character as well. The chassis is tight and precise and the car provides a large amount of driver confidence while maintaining the comfort you expect from a Lincoln.

Records & Sale:

I can provide all records for the car, warranty transfer paperwork, receipts, and Carfax report upon request.  We do have a loan on the car, so the purchase will have to be facilitated by a bank or a dealer/broker.  I can provide details on how to do this as I have done so before. We are asking only what we owe on the car, not a $ more, as we need to get into something larger and are not looking to make anything off the car, just get it to the next rightful owner!

Additional pictures available upon request, please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer. We are flexible if you would like to come see the car, or meet up.

Updating this in case anyone knows someone looking - I will take $22.5 for the car, 47k now, just had a fresh service, cabin air, and software update.

Lincoln CPO coverage is transferable and good until 100k. Looking to get a wagon to replace it!

Bumping this thread, as I am going to be listing the car again soon. Cannot get the next car until this one is gone!Car now has 63k on it - Still 37k left of CPO coverage from Lincoln (or about 3 years)

Would like to get $18k for it. Will consider offers!

Recent Maint/Work includes:

5/31/19: Oil Change, Tire Rotation, Rear Sway Bar bushings (steeda). Interior

5/1/19: H&R Springs, Motorcraft Rear Shocks, Rear Rotors & Pads, Front Strut mounts & Bearings, Motorcraft rear wheel bearings. Alignment performed. Car rides like new, with some enhanced looks and sportier ride. (not too harsh at all)

9/18/18: Water Pump performed by Lincoln due to small leak, Airbag recall performed, and engine/transmission inspected when removed for peace of mind.

Still averages about 20-21 city, pulls strong. Only issues are the pano roof side panels are peeling (deteriorating finish) and front brakes will need to be changed in 10-15k most likely. Also, rear window regulator went out, but I will getting that fixed soon.

Thanks and share with all your friends.
