drolds1
A while back I mentioned painting the 'Z' on the trunk red. IMO, cars with the Driver's Sport Package should come from the factory this way. Finally got it done. Zalvern
Nice little touch. I like having the fabled black label Z, but I ended up moving them to the engine cover for better synergy. The red goes good with the taillight.
Airflow
Thumbs up. It will make people think a little about what is going on when they see it.

jimflutes
It looks really good, makes a statement without being gaudy. Did you take it off and paint it or do it while still on the car ?

That's my objective. Really nice looking. Thanks. It looks really good, makes a statement without being gaudy. Did you take it off and paint it or do it while still on the car ? Thanks. No, I didn't remove it. I did a lot of intricate masking. Thankfully, it's all straight lines. It would be a lot harder if it was an MKC. :giggle: This is the 3rd time I've done this (2010 and 2012 Sports), so I'm getting familiar with it. BTW, the 'Z' on the 2nd-gen cars is slightly larger than that of the 1st-gen. How do I know that? I have a set of letters that my son gave me from when he worked in the dealer's parts dep't. I was going to use the spare 'Z' to cut the tape for masking but no joy. You'd never know it unless you did a side-by-side comparison.
