jm98
Just picked up certified 2014 MKZ Hybrid. Love this car. Looking for bit firmer seating option. Just came from a vehicle with firm seat pad and bit flat seating position. Any specific setting I need to make seat bit form and flat. Other option as Seat has AC/Heater option so seat pad that can support or survive seat heat/AC .
drolds1
There are no additional settings that change the firmness of the seat other than the lumbar support. You might need to go to an automotive upholstery/trim shop to get what you need. What is "bit flat?"
jm98
I meant flat like flat bottom support... :) I will have to live with seat as is. My test drive experience was much different (Comfortable) then my 1st day driving to work experience on same MKZ. May be it will take time to get right adjustments. Black Ice MKZ
yea, that is about my only gripe with the MKZ...the seats. Sure they hold you in well, and the cooled/heated option is FANTASTIC but the lower cushion could be longer for better thigh support and they could use a little better padding. But what it lack in those 2 areas, it well makes up for everywhere else. My girl rode in the back and said the rear seats are more comfortable than the front. Since no one else drives my car, I'll never know. hahaha Airflow
jm98
After almost year I am getting used to the seat and okay with it. I have to do some Yoga and workout to adjust to seat. The seat did not need to adjust to me.. :)
