jimflutes Posted August 18, 2017 Share Posted August 18, 2017 Well I said from the start that I did not agree with the 2017 front grill design and I realized that it is a matter of personal taste. So I saw online about a 2016 Lux Metallic MKZh (8000 miles on it) in White Plains (2 1/2 Hrs. away). I am extremely happy with this car, while I am a little sad to give up my 13 Zh this new one is a significant upgrade. With its 19 inch. painted polished wheels,heated steering wheel and back seats,side mirrors that fold in,DRLs yea,and an amazing top of the line sound system (14 speakers),this car is dream for me to drive around in,it even feels more solid then the 13 ,the brakes feel really good,it seems faster when out of ecco drive. I purchased this at White Plains Lincoln NY and was treated wonderfully by the sales staff there (Felix Rojas),they made an error on the invoice sales tax so they mailed me a check two weeks later to cover the error,I did not even realized the mistake on my own. I could not have afforded a new Z with these upgrades , and yes my beloved DRLs (it was worth it just for them!) I think they would have cost another $4500 on top of what my 13 cost which was $41,000. So it is like riding around in a palace and I find it a great space to take a ride and chill out . I am in the middle of coating it with the Optiumn gloss coat and getting the clear bra and black vinyl top plus window tint installed. Pictures will be posted soon. I am new to the Lincoln family, but knew that i wanted the 2016 over the 2017 front end. I picked up my slightly used 2016 in New Jersey. So far i am loving this car and have averaged 42 miles per gallon (hand calculated) over 3600 miles traveled. I figure that I have saved over $200 in gas in less than 2 months. jimflutes Posted August 29, 2017 Author Share Posted August 29, 2017 (edited) Well the 2013-16 MKZ will probably be a Lincoln classic because they will not make this front back combo again. I put chrome strips along the bottom three black lower grill,attached the hybrid emblem to the rear door plastic and put clear bra on the front bumper and hood,then had the gloss black vinyl put on the top also had the window tints at 35%. The 19 inch wheels are fantastic and do you know that the Michelin mxm3 tires have rim protection so the expensive wheels are somewhat protected from curb rash?
