Lincoln MKZ Wrap, 20 Inch Lexani Wheels

Hi guys. I haven't been on here in a while, just very busy with work and school. I posted a while back when I got my MKZ wrapped. Here are some updated photos of my MKZ with the new wheels I put on it. They are 20x8 Lexani Wraith wrapped in 245/40/20 Toyo's. I also have a Uniden R3 on a BlendMount on the rear view mirror that is tapped into the mirror harness so it comes on with my ignition. This is by far the best one I've had and I came from an Escort 9500IX. Next for the car I'm going to have a system put in and a custom box with 2 JLw6 10's in the trunk. I'm replacing all the door speakers with JL Audio components and I'll be eliminating the center channel as well as the rear deck speakers. This will help make for better staging throughout the car. I'm also adding an AudioControl DM-608 DSP to help with that. Thanks for checking out my post and let me know if I can answer any questions about my ongoing build.

Nice choice on radar detector. Got a Uniden R3 on order myself. I've always been ticket free and only use Waze, but decided to add the Uniden to the arsenal especially since I supped up my MKZ's performance.

Very slick and stylish wrap and wheel combo!

You'll love the R3. make sure you update the firmware when you get it. It helps a lot with the false alerts on blind spot monitoring systems on cars. This one has alerted me when there was an officer 2 miles away, very impressive unit. If you're on the fence about whether to go with the BlendMount I'd say definitely do it. In order to get the best range on the detector you need to mount it that high and the cigarette lighter adapter is great but it WILL swing and touch the buttons on your dash. BlendMount doesn't make the bracket for the R3 yet but the Radenso one fits just fine and I haven't had any problems with it at all.

Those wheels are insane! I've never seen a style like that before. Looks very futuristic. How do you find the ride with the 20s?

Thank you. I originally got them with 35 series tires and i wasn't happy with the fender gap and I also wanted a thicker tire to protect the wheels better. I'm glad I went with this choice because it fills the gap just right and helped noticeably with the ride. Very small difference compared to the factory 18's but well worth it.
