If you have any trouble getting this to work... have your dealership use IDS to update your DDM/PDM to the latest software version. There has literally been like 10 updates for the modules. (For my 2014 at least, I'm sure more for the 2013).


REVERSE DIP AND AUTOFOLD SIDE MIRRORS
- Requires Motorized Mirrors to be installed.

Go into Mirror Settings under Vehicle in IPC to turn both these features on after changing code.

To Use Reverse Side Mirror Dip:
Before shifting into reverse, select the mirror you want by pressing the left or right mirror control button. Then shift to reverse, it should dip.


If you do reverse tilt/dip and have mirror clicking sounds or position issues. Try this:

The mirror automatically adjusts to a set
position, but you can change the position
by doing the following:
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Select the mirror you want to
re-position.
3. Put your vehicle into reverse ® and
let the mirror automatically dip to its
set position.
4. When the mirror is in its dipped position
and is no longer moving, re-position it
to your preference.
5. Put your vehicle into park (P).
6. Use the memory preset control to save selection.

Distance Alert / Indication

Figured this one out this morning... I believe this is already factory enabled on Mondeo's, but not on our Fusion's.

Note: This mod requires the vehicle to have Adaptive Cruise Control and the Forward Collision Warning System with the Red HUD bar on the top of the dashboard.

CCM:

764-01-01 xxxx x2xx (some newer CCM modules may have an extra byte, just ignore it... ex: 764-01-01 xxxx x2xx xx) - existing value should be a 1. We are changing it to a 2.

IPC:
720-01-02 xxxx 9xxx (adding a 4 to existing value, mine was a 5 thus it is now a 9).


Distance Alert / Indication
"If the distance to the lead vehicle is small, the red warning light illuminates a small bar in the windshield."

Some instrument clusters also support displaying it as a Distance Indication picture above the vehicle icon as well.

You need to enable this in the menu system in the collision avoidance menu, its turned off by default.

Mirror Dip i think required a special sequence, but I cant remember it at the moment. I know they talk about it on the 2gfusion link.

 

Climate control is a negative. I have been looking at F-150 and Explorer forums as well, but I cant get it enabled

Thanks.  I got the mirror dip working with only changing 720-02-01 and all is working great with it including remembering the custom down positions.

 

Last night I tried cycling through every hex bit available for the 720-05-01 position xxXx and while i was able to remove items off the cluster none of the changes added climate, so I don't think it's possible.

Any updates on extra codes or anyone has actually tried this? I'd really love to get the speedo in the middle. I don't want to turn off adaptive lane departure considering that's one of the reasons why I bought the car.

 

Also, if I put in a number wrong will it brick my system or it just won't add that functionality?

It won't brick your system if you put in the wrong code.  I tried putting in all kinds of different codes in an attempt to get the climate in IPC but the worse that happens is it removes other options.  Simply changing back the values restored everything.  

 

Everything you want except climate is doable.  Just follow the guide.

    http://forscan.org/forum/extlic.php         try this link,  sign in and it should take you to the page to generate the key for the license.  Just fill out the information require.

I tried it today, and modified quite a few things! Digital speedo, TPMS, Audio EQ, turned the accessory outlets off when power goes off, SecureIdle was turned on, and I'll work on the navigation another day.

Anybody with a '13-'16 MKZ (non-hybrid) whom uses ForScan want to try a IPC code? It's from a '17 MKZ that has the digital speedo in the center gauge.

I have tried a few things from that post on my 2013. So far I did:

• Disabled the double horn when the car is running and the door is closed with no fob detected
• Simultaneous High Beams and Fog Lights
• Increased the heated steering wheel temperature to 84 degrees (from the default 68)

I haven't been able to get much else working since most of the codes seem to be for 2014+

I wouldn't exactly call those fog lights. They're DRL's, and provide absolutely no illumination of the road, on their own.

Looking to get TPMS on my 2014.  this is the first tweak i would like to do.. I just got the vehicle on 3-4-18.  Next up is NAV.. IS there a detailed write up on that?  I found a Ford Fusion video on Youtube and was curious about the downloads and when to apply them to the tweak.. Thanks in advance..
