Hello EVO a friend of mine made those enclosures and they are absolutely great.

I am located in Killeen like an hour or less from Austin.

We can probably meet up one day if you want to check them out.

oh nice! I think I found a couple subs I want, and yeah may have to check out your system for sure. Thanks!

...For the LC7i the highs and mids I tap in to the wires input from the oem amp and for the lows, subwoofers I tap in to the rear deck 6x9 speaker wires.

How did you get to the 6x9s? you have to take the top cover off the rear deck?

just got a sub for xmas, gonna hook that up with my vintage rockford amp ?

Yes,  when you open the trunk and look under there are two plastic tabs one on each corner pull them out and the liner is then hold by Velcro just pull the liner down

and you will see the 6X9.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Got the amp, capacitor, and the subs installed. It took me a while but finally finished. Very pleased with the outcome.

I used to compete back in the mid 80's in sound competitions, took a few first place trophies. This reminds me of those days. I no longer install big systems in my cars due to 5 decades of playing music a bit too loud. So I of course built a 4000 watt 11.3 channel Home Theater that will rattle your eye balls and give people with a pace maker palpitations (yeah, figured that out the hard way). So I still crank it once in a while but actually use the power headroom for better dynamics and to ensure 11 channels get all the power they need while the massive subs have 1500 watt amps each. I want to upgrade the car stereo, I just don't keep the cars long enough.

So - my 13 doesn't have fog lights. How can I make this happen?

I replaced only the switch with the fog lights from a fusion but I haven't found some

fog lights that would look good on the space beneath the DRL's.

So for right now it is on hold.

Hi Eurythmian.  Just as an FYI: No model or trim level of the 2013-2019 MKZ has "fog lights".

The LED lighting strip, which is below the headlights on your car, replaced "fog lights". Some models and trim levels also have integral LED lighting inside the headlight housing itself.

Good luck

This is about the only thread i could find that someone actually upgraded the factory stereo. This was the THX system right? Why did you use the input side of the OEM amp for mids and highs but connected at the rear deck speakers for your inputs for your sub amp....why?

Hello Artie  My factory radio is not THX,  The OEM amp only has the four outputs for each of the door speakers which I connected to the high and mids of the LC7I and used the rear deck output which control the bass of the system to the bass input of the LC7I.
