Willie Thompson
So I just recently got financed for a 2006 Zephyr. It has no Navigation, nor a touch screen. Can anyone tell me what options are out there? I dont know what to research in all honesty. Can I throw in anything that says compatible with the 2006 and if so would it still work with the steering wheel? Trying to research options for a better audio set up, as well as touch screen with possible Navigation and, or back up camera compatibility. MediumWilly22
Take a look at the Crutchfield website. They have a large selection and they offer an adapter made by Axxis that allows steering wheel control of aftermarket units. Peter Vandermat
I had a 2007. I installed a pioneer navigation system with ease. The ones nowadays even add blue tooth. The dash is very easy to take apart that generation. There is also a company called Pacific Audio that sells adapters for steering wheel controls. Do a search for Pacific Audio SWI (steering wheel interface) controls. I had good luck buying off of eBay. You can also buy a new dash plate that fits the factory navigation. Buy this piece so you can fit a double din size stereo. Please let me know if I can be of any help. Mainly just looking to research for now and then save up over next few months depending on the prices for everything. I am going to be doing some research tonight even and if I have any questions then I will be sure to ask.
