Airflow
Nice! That is going to be a sweet car. Post some pics when you get it! I'm a CPA also and looking to order mine in about a week. Do you mind me asking how you did as far as the deal? Maybe PM me if you don't want to share publicly. Any insight is greatly appreciated! IraF
I put in a special order in for a 2017 mkz 2017 hybrid just before thanksgiving and it took about 7 weeks before I received the car 2017 MKZ Hybrid Reserve selected all options except panoramic roof(stayed with moon roof) and no rear shade. 2014 MKZ did have panoramic roof, didn't like it. Traded a 2014 mkz hybrid and the deal was something that was very reasonable to me and something I couldn't pass up. Posted pictures in photo gallery My impression so far with only about 310 miles on it is engine seems quieter then compared to the 2014 mkz hybrid Tried Auto Hold and was impressed, although foot was near the brake "in case" Sound system with 20 speakers unbelieveable and the volume was only set around 9 Although no VHR report is available although Ford is aware that people are wanting it back, so who knows what the next software will bring. My insurance is statefarm, I now have drive safe & go. Takes a few days for all your trips to show up with regards to mileage Bought an extender for Wi-Fi , in the house no problem but the Wi-Fi was very weak on the driveway, not so much with the extender now I suggest an invisible bra, I had this on the 2014 mkz and never regretted it. Windows were tinted all around @ 35% Added rain deflectors if you have questions i'll try to answer Edited February 2, 2017 by IraF Robert Iggy Cerami

I am a Ford stockholder so I got "X-Plan" pricing. For a 36 month/10,500 mile per yr. lease, with $1,903 down I am at $465 a month. longislander
Car came in about 3 weeks ago but I wasn't going to take delivery until after tax season so I will be picking it up this coming Tuesday the 25th. Can't wait! Something good came from waiting. There is now a "Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash" $500 incentive for which I qualify that knocks almost $15 off the monthly lease payment :) Robert Iggy Cerami

longislander
That's me being happy for you. ;) Got it:) I appreciate that. I have to return my Cadillac to a GM dealer so I'll do that at Sarant where I bought it, and my wife will meet me there and drive me to Hassett. I live in Oceanside so I'll take the Wantagh south and the Loop Parkway home. That'll be a great first drive! :) Edited April 22, 2017 by longislander

longislander
Well I picked it up today in the middle of a heavy rainstorm so I was just glad to get it home rather than taking the scenic route. Very quick impressions: 1. I think the Magnetic Grey paint color suits this car very well, and the Sonata Spin aluminum trim package that I chose matches the center console trim perfectly and looks great in the Ebony interior. 2. Although not at all the weather to try it out, I could feel the power of that sweet-sounding TT V-6. I look forward to dry pavement! 3. Overall the car feels more "serene" than the 2014 Cadillac CTS it replaces - the ride is less bumpy (CTS had those awful run-flat tires) and it's noticeably quieter. 4. I didn't think I would, but I like the pushbutton transmission selector! I think I'm going to be VERY happy with the MKZ, and the monthly lease payment is about $100 less than the CTS with less $ put down! If I can figure out how, I'll post a pic of it glistening in the sun:) Edited April 26, 2017 by longislander Robert Iggy Cerami
jmcgliss
Congrats on your new ride. How did you feel about the Magnetic paint on a rainy day? Around here, gray cars seem invisible to other drivers.

Also like the push-button selector but it's taking a while to get used to not resting my arm on a floor shift. At my age it's hard to change habits lol. Small price to pay for such a great ride. I find the ride a little soft in normal mode so I've selected sport for a little more 'connected' feel and like it a lot. Much closer to the ride in my SHO. 500 less pounds than the SHO was a welcome change. The MKZ is much more nimble ....... Enjoy that bad boy and congrats once again. C. The beauty of this color is the way the metalflakes light up in the sun.

Zalvern
Thanks! I kind of like the "sleeper" aspect of the 3.0T/AWD with the base wheels ;) I've de-badge mine even though its a Black Label (I like the rear end clean) for the more sleeper look. I moved the emblems to the engine cover instead though so they're not "wasted". But my Black Label emblem is on my license plate. Made a nice balance. I got a plasti-dip project in mind, and wheels are getting pvd onyx chromed. After the accident, the Z shall come back stronger than ever.
