DondiSmith
Hello Forum, I'm new here and the proud owner of a 2009 Lincoln MKZ I bought 3 days ago. After hours of searching online I finally found this place and wanted to ask a question to anyone that may have the answer. I have a stock radio with the Microsoft SYNC system. I'm hoping I can upgrade to a new double din radio. Does anyone know how I can do this and what parts I need to order? Any help would be greatly appreciated. drolds1
Welcome to the forums. Try Crutchfield. They have great customer service and should be able to suggest something.
2013MKZ
Welcome! I have purchased stereo upgrades from many sites including Crutchfield. In the end I usually buy through Amazon, Sonic Electronics or ABT due to lower prices. Shop the big box stores to see what you want and then research lower cost options online. TomV
I used to have a Kenwood head unit with a idatalink Maestro RR (connects to iDatalink-compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and SONY radios) in my old 2009 Ford Fusion with Sync. It retained all the OEM features, Sync, Satellite, Phone, etc.) I still have the idatalink module for sale if you're interested.
J.bornoffical
hey DondiSmith, its very possible i had to cut the plastic a bit and i used the stock mount that was on the other radio, Everything lined up On the newer mkz's you will have to use a PAC interface box so it will not throw a code
