drolds1 Posted August 13, 2016 Share Posted August 13, 2016 (edited) Do you mean the message: Check Adaptive Headlamps? There's no such thing as "alternative headlamps." Your car has adaptive headlamps, i.e, the headlamps turn with the steering wheel. The message is telling you that there's a malfunction with that system. You need to make a service appointment. Per your owner's guide under Information Displays: Message Action Check Adaptive Headlamps Displays when a fault with the system has occurred. Contact an authorized dealer as soon as possible.
