JoeBrown
FWIW with the recent heat wave here in the Lower Hudson Valley of New York State, this summer is the first time I've really needed the cooled seats. Man am I glad I have them. :love_shower: Edited July 27, 2016 by JoeBrown Robert Iggy Cerami

shortspark
Can someone tell me if the cooled seats on the MKZ are cooled by air conditioning or simply a recirculation of air in the cabin? I've heard some car makers do not really create a cooling of the seat, they just blow air. Thanks for any input because I live in Texas and it is HOT half of the year! JoeBrown
Probably not the air conditioner because I believe you can use it even if the air conditioning is not on. The air coming out is really cool. It only takes a few minutes to really cool down. I'm sure someone else knows all the technical details. It is a heat exchanger type of thermo dynamic, piezo-electric, thing-a-ma-widget magical device. Or something like that. :) It's in the Owners Guide, but I can't remember exactly where. I use my seat air conditioning every day during the summer months here in North Texas. My butt stays nice and cool! :) Edited July 28, 2016 by SteveB_TX Robert Iggy Cerami and R2D2
R2D2
I love mine too as I live in Florida. The only thing I wish was that there was a way for it always to come on when starting the car.....as part of my key's profile or a general setting.
