Duffer44
When i hit a bump my car bangs hard. Is there an adjustment to soften the suspension? it's a 2010 with 28k miles.
drolds1
Not on the 2010s. Adjustable suspension debuted on the 2013s. Which version do you have, standard or Sport? The Sport has a firmer ride. Both cars ride differently from old-school Lincolns, more so the Sport. Check your tire pressures and maybe have the suspension inspected for anything obviously amiss. Michael Katz
Sounds like you have a suspension problem somewhere. How big is the bump that is causing a bang?
Duffer44
Tire pressure was one of the first things I checked. It acts as if the struts are frozen, even with a minor 2' pothole. We recently rode in a Lincoln limo and it did the same thing. Bone jarring. Just inquiring to see if it's an inherent problem. Base model.
