jmcgliss
Looks great, and brings back memories of blacking out the grill and rear trim panel on my dad's 1967 Mercury Comet as a boy.

No BL parts can be ordered for a non-BL car. Not unlike what Buick did with the GNX in the '80's- you couldn't just trot down to the dealer and "upgrade" to GNX parts for your GN or T-Type if you couldn't prove you had a GNX. Zach
Just started chrome deleting my MKZ with plastidip and plastidip glossifier. Got the rear end done but have to touch up the front in one spot. Will post more pictures when it’s complete

Hence the old saying, "There's 10x more Cobras out there than Shelby ever built.". Harley does the same with some special models like the '03 Centennials and various SE, LEO and other special distinctive paint bikes. Should you lay one down, your dealer can obtain replacement parts like a saddlebag(s), tour pak and/or lids by submitting the VIN. Though a PITA at times, it does help maintain the perceived value of exclusive models. Edited March 10, 2020 by 17MKZ3.0TT
Zach
All done with the plastidip. Purchasing some vinyl the chrome delete the window trim and side mirrors since it didn’t seem to hold onto the chrome very well, but here are some pics. Pretty happy with the outcome. I think it gives the car a completely different, sportier look.
Eurythmian
Now that it has been a couple years, how does it hold up? I'm really wanting to do this to mine.
