saclarkdoc
I have a 2011 Hybrid MKZ, which of course has two battery systems: one for the Hybrid system behind the trunk and another conventional car battery under the front hood.We will be leaving the MKZ in the garage while my family is gone on vacation for 4-6 weeks.I'd like to know what prep Lincoln recommends I take with my MKZ prior to departure?(Disconnect the conventional battery? Disconnect the hybrid battery? Connect the conventional battery to a Battery Tender?)Does anyone know what Lincoln recommends?

Low and high voltage battery – storage Your vehicle must be started and run for a minimum of 10 minutes once a month in order to maintain the high voltage battery charge. This will maintain the high voltage battery but it is not enough to maintain the low voltage (underhood) battery and additional low voltage (underhood) battery charging may be required after 60 days. If your vehicle is to be stored for 30 days or longer, the low voltage (underhood) battery negative terminal must be disconnected. Failure to do this could damage your vehicle’s batteries. If you don't have an OG, you can download one here or here. BTW, you can't disconnect the HVB.
