Moe
My 2015 MKZ Hybrid all of a sudden is getting poor gas mileage. It has gone from a good 44 mpg to 25 mpg. It started when I took a trip from Connecticut to South Carolina. Can't figure what could be wrong. But it seems to run on the gas engine more than the EV, even at idol. Has anyone experienced this. R2D2
Not as extreme as yours but I have been detecting a slow small drop in the average mpg for the last several months. Note I have never reset the average mpg to date since I took possession of the vehicle so all these reading are lifetime For the first 5-6 months I owned the 2014, it was rock solid between 38.9 to 39.0 avg mpg. It is now down to 37.9, slowly dropping .1 mpg every few weeks. I have not changed brands of gas or driving habits so I don't think it is that. a few things did happen just about the time when I noticed the first drop. 1st oil change nail found in tire and repaired sync updated I live in Florida so the AC is always running but this summer has been a constant hot season....maybe that is it.....what do y'all think? Moe
That could be but Mine is to extreme. What I look at is the short runs to the store and back. I would get 44 to even 50 and now I'm lucky to get 27.

Robert Iggy Cerami
Had my 13 Hybrid for almost 2 yrs (34k miles)... Summer time MPGs dropped a lot for me due to the AC.. Also on any long road trips would have a big drop in the MPGs.. But once weather cooled and no AC it was back to normal around town.. As for long road trips there was always a drop in MPGs.. I figured it was due to the ICE kicking in more often to go up over hills and passing other cars...
Moe
Well My mpg has gotten better. Why I don't know But I did fill it up with Mobil gas instead of a off brand. Could the gas make that much difference? I am averaging 39 to 40 on this tank.

Make sure you're not is sports mode... My MPG drops to the 25 range when I run it in sports mode, even when not driving "sporty"
