AndrewMKZ
I have heard a million different things on leather cleaning, and my Lincoln Manuel says to use mild soap and water. Well, what type of soap? Is there a particular type to buy or can I mix a drop of dawn in a bucket of warm water and damp my cloth?
drolds1
I had a 2010 before the 2012 and after I took delivery Lincoln sent me a sample of Leathermaster cleaner and conditioner. This what they recommend for the Bridge of Weir leather in the MKZ, Not expecting much, when I tired it I was impressed and I'm hard to impress when it comes to car care products. I bought the 150ml kit and I'm quite happy with the results. If you want to use soap and water, don't use Dawn. I don't think that would be safe for leather. Professional detailers use Woolite on leather seats instead. It won't harm the leather.
AndrewMKZ
Thanks so much. Will remember both products.
Tucker
I would use the Johnston soap. I use it on every thing and it is very mild no harsh stuff in it.

Joseph Park
I clean my leather every month or so. I use Lexol leather cleaner and Turtle Wax leather conditioner The drivers seat and passenger get the most wear so sometimes I just rub some conditioner periodically on those seats to prevent creasing and crackling. You could go with higher quality product but I am not sure you would see much difference.
JayD
I used to use Sonax Leather Cleaner/Conditioner as it is a foam and is nice for the perforated portions. But now I only use AMMO NYC products on my vehicles, except for the Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner. The AMMO interior products are second to none in terms of performance, per product used. The same could be said for all of Larry's products to be honest.
JAWMKZ
Lexol ph cleaner, which I use on all seats, the doors, trim and salt stains during winter, let all air dry and then Lexol conditioner the seats. Let that dry overnight (never condition in freezing temperature) then wipe/buff in the morning. I trust Lexol on all my leather goods. Stay away from products with silicone. It's another to use personal insults, which I've noticed in several other of your responses this evening. This is a violation of the TOU here. Those will be deleted. This is your first warning.
