Very Blessed Lincoln Owner

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew and I am new to the site. I just got a CPO 2010 MKZ. I was not planning on a Lincoln but God just worked it out. Found it in Memphis, had the interior I liked and I was blessed enough that it had the Ultimate, Navigation, and Technology Package. 23,500 miles. I had no idea about the CPO program!

3.5 v6 with the select shift 6-speed.

I was worried about the black but now I love it!

This was my 17th birthday gift lol!

I love my family and am pursuing a degree in Chemistry/physics and hope to be an educator one day. God bless you all!

Lots of nice pics. Hope you continue to enjoy it. I saw only one problem--your oil filler cap is upside down, lol.

Black always looks great when clean, but I gave up on it years ago when I lived in WI where slush would really mess it up. Now that I live in NV, light colors (my 2011 MKS is silver) can go months between washes whereas the desert dust would make weekly, or even daily washes necessary.

Welcome to the Lincoln family!

Chem + Physics have always been one of my true loves.  I was at U-Mich before getting a job with Shelby, however, I do plan on going back someday and like you, teaching.

We (Shelby) does a road race out at Spring Mountain each year. For 2013, it will be in March.  Hope to see you there.

We live in Pahrump, within hearing distance of the Spring Mountain track.

Never been there but on some weekends we can hear the cars running laps.

Do you know if they allow anyone to come in to just watch, or do you have to be a member or participant?

That I don't know. I hope that during the Shelby event, anyone could come in and watch.

Back in the early 70's I had a 68 Shelby GT500 convertible. Sold it when gas skyrocketed to, I believe, at or over $1.00 a gallon, lol. Great car, but seemed to have a tire wear problem, again, lol.

Selling that car and passing up a 55 MB gullwing for $5500 are two of my car related regrets. I always give my wife a shot when I see those cars at the Barrett-Jackson auctions, since she was the motivation for both those decisions. Her decision to marry me 44 years ago does make up for those.
