miahjera04
So what color are you going to set for your ambient interior lighting? This is a big decision! LOL, when i get the car, i'll have to go through them and decide...probably blue i'd guess. Based on pictures i've seen on google, blue seems to look the best. miahjera04
One can't go wrong with a color named strip club purple, im just sayin. lol.... i'm sure my wife will actually like the purple the best, i'll have to tell her the guys on a mkz forum named it strip club purple, she'll laugh her ass off. That brings up a good question.. when setting the fobs for driver 1 and 2, i know the car is suppose to memorize seat settings automatically. does that including ambient lighting selection as well? IE: fob 1 paired to driver 1 seat setting and blue(for me), and fob 2, w/ driver 2 seat setting with purple for her? Or is that just wishful thinking?? SteveB_TX
I have yet to get the Fobs to program for individual settings of any sort. I gave up a loooooong time ago. (You know how us older guys are.) ;)
miahjera04
I'm assuming the manual has instructions on key fob programming. Also, I believe I've seen some YouTube videos on this topic. None the less, when I get my car here in a few weeks, I'll figure it all out and will be glad to assist you in how to program them. Always lookin for ways to assist the elderly. :)

Each fob can be programmed with one set of seat, steering column, and mirror settings that are stored in each of the 3 memory settings (the three buttons next to the power door lock switch). Sadly, ambient lighting is not saved. SteveB, programming the fobs is easy. First you program the memory seats/column/mirrors, then program the fob. drolds1
Mine is blue at the moment, but I may change it to Bordello Red or Strip Club Purple... ;) Or you could have the car decide for you that it likes white best, Mine is still doing it despite reprogramming. miahjera04
Damn, the ambient lighting color selection being saved per fob would've been sweet! Maybe future Lincoln feature?
miahjera04
Finally!!! Picked her up Wednesday! It's been constantly raining in SE Texas. So she's dirty. Got the windows tinted yesterday, and will be removing all the emblems on the trunk next week(will post pics) Also, currently still waiting on a Lincoln parts guy to get back to me on the black grille inserts that come on black label cars. I want them! We may not be able to purchase them though. We will see, plan to get a body shop to do it if I can't order them. Btw, absolutely love the car!!! Drives incredibly smooth, and when it's in sport mode, I love how we can actually notice a difference in tighter steering/suspension and the improved throttle response! And only complaint: not having g built in Pandora. I can Bluetooth play Pandora through my phone, but was expecting to have it built in as an app in the car so I can navigate through stations, thumbs up, etc... Maybe sync 3 users get that? Ohh, and the massaging seats! (Wife loves that) lol Robert Iggy Cerami
JoeBrown
Maybe I'm overly careful but I don't want any thing in my car that is directly connected to the internet. Having such a connection can make it a "possible" hacking target. Any app by any author could be infiltrated. The recent issue with Jeep comes to mind. Go figure. http://help.pandora.com/customer/portal/articles/80708-pandora-and-ford Edited September 15, 2015 by tgara

Davisjl
It connected to my home network right away but, like you, I couldn't find a practical use for it. I guess so you could tether your car to your phone's internet and then use the cars WiFi as a hot spot for other devices... such as a wifi tablet... (Wife loves that) lol On the messaging seats... mine shorted out and the service department said there was a known service ticket on that issue... mine is a 2014, so not sure if they fixed it prior to yours, but worth asking about. miahjera04
Hmmm, interesting... As of now. My seats seem fine. And I have a 8yr/100k mile warranty. So if I have any issues, damn sure better be free to fix.lol but yea, I would hope a 2yr newer model should have less tsb's
