robertlane
Since the Lincoln MKZ might be getting a refresh for the 2017 model year, we've added this 2017 MKZ specific section :) GWJ42 and Robert Iggy Cerami
jimflutes
This is going to very interesting. All the spy shots on the net show the Z to look about the same except the front , which is completly covered, and minor changes to the rear. Those who have seen it testing in Detroit , but will not show pictures, say the split wing is gone , and the grill is like the continental but rounder. They all agreed that the changes were positive inside and out. They talk about more powerful engines , but the hybrid stays the same engine. So now we wait for the frist photos to come out. robertlane
It's supposed to be a really great looking car and I've seen mules, but they are heavily disguised. Yes, Continental in design elements.
jimflutes
I just hope the continental grill does not make it too conservative looking .
Tucker
I hope they don't go totally off the mark
17MKZ30T
Ordered my 2017 MKZ 3.0T AWD last Wednesday. Magnetic with Terra Cotta/Ebony interior, Panoramic Glass Roof, Climate Package, Multicontour seats and optional 19" wheels. I hope late availability on the 3.0 V6 doesn't take too long. I Ordered my current car, a 2012 Mustang in May of 2011 with a color that was "late availability" I didn't get the car until late November 2011. drolds1
Congratulations! Yeah, they're saying summer availability but you never know with them. They said that with the 2003 Lincoln LS and it didn't come to the market until November of that year either.
17MKZ30T
I saw 3.0T models on cars.com as dealer orders with VIN numbers. I checked the VIN on the window sticker generator website and it came up as a 3.0T car. I don't know how far in advance VIN numbers are assigned prior to the actual build date. drolds1
Once a VIN is assigned, build date is usually within 2 weeks. Delivery can take several weeks after that.
17MKZ30T
Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't take too long. I asked the salesman to email the VIN when he got it. Edited May 28, 2016 by 17MKZ30T
Myron D. Brown
Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't take too long. I asked the salesman to email the VIN when he got it. I ordered mine eight weeks ago...still no VIN. :( I will get an update Tuesday.
17MKZ30T
That sucks, hope you get good news. What model/options did you order?
Myron D. Brown
Black Label Hybrid. Diamond Black Metallic. Thoroughbred theme. Every option. I was told the Black Label trims usually show up a month or two after the others. So I'm trying to be patient...
