BlackPano
Not sure if anyone else here has bought one, but I just ordered a craven speed 4" shorty antenna for my 13 mkz pano. Will be nice to be rid of that monster antenna. I found it on amazon for $25, it's billet aluminum and made in the USA. I will post pics once it arrives. KenZ
I am SOOOOO glad I don't have to mess with an ugly fender mounted antenna. :) (Well, you told me to!) ;) Hah... Seems I am oblivious to many things. I had not even realized my 2013 pano "Z" had an antenna until I had it for 3 or 4 months and someone on the forums pointed out that it was ugly. When I saw the first pictures of the car with that antenna, I figured that it must be a test mule thing and that they'd never put that J. C. Whitney antenna on a production car. Boy was I wrong! BlackPano
Yeah it's hard to believe that they really couldn't come up with an alternative before the initial launch or even for the '14 model. Clearly it did not bother the higher ups in engineering or design. It's pretty sad honestly, something you might expect from Hyundai or Kia while trying to establish themselves in the luxury market...not Lincoln. hermans
So you are a fan of the stock antenna? I like the OEM over the "stubby". I'm not against antenna mods....I had a shark fin on my '13FFH. It's your money...
BlackPano
It's an improvement. Any degradation in radio reception? Some loss of reception for stations in towns farther away. All of my local stations I like come in well though. So far I'm a big fan.
