Andrew L
2 questions for my new to me 13 MKZ. First the sensitivity of the auto headlights is pretty bad. They don't kick on till the sun is almost completely set, on my LS I know I could adjust this and when I was driving from Orlando to St. Pete everyone had their headlights on as the sun was setting except me since I was waiting to see when they would finally kick in. How can I adjust this so they are a bit more senstive? Also how the heck can I get Pandora to display info on the main screen of MLT. I called Lincoln support and they said there was an update coming that would fix this but is there really no way at all to get this fixed? It seems odd that previous versions of Ford's radios have Pandora support but MLT which is newer doesn't!
JoeBrown
Andrew I can't answer about Pandora support. I can give you my experience on the headlights being turned on with my 2014. It works very well for me going on and off. It works a lot better than my 2000 LS, which was pretty much as you described on your 2013 MKZ. The only suggestion I can give is make sure the sensor is clean and clear. I checked the owner's manual and see no sensitivity settings for autolamps. Andrew L
Where is the sensor located?
JoeBrown
I don't know for sure but I assume it's that little bubble centrally mounted on top of the dash. That also controls the automatic high and low beams when activated.
tgara
The current version of MLT does not use apps like was done with previous versions of Sync. I think the best you can do is simply stream Pandora from your phone to the Sync system via Bluetooth. If Pandora embeds the artist and song title in the stream, you might be able to see that on the home screen. I stream music from Apple Music (in the cloud, not stored on my phone) to Sync via Bluetooth, and I can see the artist and song title on the home screen.
