Tinted tail lights

I tinted the tail lights with an automotive spray paint designed specifically for that purpose. Despite the apparent darkness of the tint, the lights still illuminate very bright and visible.

The skull image was just super imposed on the photo to cover my license plate.

I used to do these back when I had access to a paint booth.  Nightshades can come out looking good with a lot of work, but I suggest finding a body shop to do it for you with automotive grade paint.  Just takes clear coat with a small amount of black paint mixed in, and apply coats until the desired tint is reached.  The gloss effect of the clear coat method is hard to beat.  It can be matched with Nightshades but it takes a lot of sanding and prep work.  Here is a picture from my old Grand Prix with this effect. Wish the picture was taken in better light, but you get the idea.
