Hello all!  I am Joe from Chicago. Last week we bought my wife a 2020 MKZ (Red/Cappuccino Standard) liked it so much went back and bought myself a 2020 Black/Black Reserve with the MonoChromatic package, AWD.  Joined up here to do some reading and learning.  Looking forward to getting to know some of you and reaping the benefits of your knowledge. Will post pictures after I find some time to take them.

Hi Joe. Congratulations on your new MKZ's, and welcome to the Lincoln MKZ Forum.

Just one thing though: In the future, start your own new threads instead of piggybacking/"hijacking" the existing thread of someone else. Unless of course you are answering a question or posting something on-topic to the OP's subject.

Definitely post some photos, hope to see you around the forum and good luck.

Hi and welcome to the forum , anything you would want to know about your car you will find here . I started with a 2013 MKZh and liked it so much I went right to a 2016 MKZh just like yours . You will find that the folks here are well informed and very willing to help with any problem concerning Lincoln cars and especially the MKZ . Good luck and I hope you enjoy this car as much as I do .

Hello! I got a 2014 Lincoln MKZ v6 about 6 months ago. It’s been super solid, it has 74k miles and the only problems with the car are a broken rear sunshade, and a heated steering wheel that doesn’t seem to work (i live in socal so its not something i’m urgent to fix). I enjoy the car, but I come from driving almost exclusively german cars and this is the first time i’ve ever spent more than an hour driving something American. Now I have no idea if something is wrong with my car so I’m gonna try to explain how it rides to me. The ride in comfort mode reminds me of Cadillac my grandmother used to have if not slightly more crash-y and lateral motions feel very uncontrolled, in normal the car settles down and this is generally the mode I drive it in, but the rear end becomes unsettled, and moves around over bumps in both comfort and normal modes. sport mode seems to solve some of the problem with the rear and makes the car feel closer to a passat but in sport mode it doesn’t seem to know how to cope with sharp impacts at all, sending a significantly louder thud into the cabin than the other modes. I have no idea if this is a problem with my specific car. it has a clean carfax so i have no reason to believe there is anything structurally wrong with it and my trusted family mechanic said nothing of it. Is it possible it’s just time to replace mounts and bushings?

I’m also considering moving down to 17 inch wheels and hoping that will get rid some of the sharp impacts. I want this car to ride as good as it looks. I also think my muffler is going bad so I’m excited to change that out.

I really love this car for the way it looks, and it has every single feature I wanted, I’m going back and reading past forums after posting this and I’m sure I’ll find solutions for my problems. I’ve put like 6k miles on the car already and I am genuinely shocked I have no good photos of it.

Just bought a 2018 MKZ Reserve 2.0 . 21K miles, CPO til Dec 2024. A great find in my own city. White/ Cappuccino. My last 2 cars were BMWs. 2001 740i Sport, 2011 535ix Sport. My MKZ might not be the performer quite like the BMWs but it's no dog either. I was concerned that I might be disappointed in some areas but the Lincoln really delivers a lot of features and a lot of smiles on my face.  I've had good luck with Lincoln's in the past, one of which was an '87 Mark VII LSC. 5.0 HO. That. too, was an excellent car...now a collectible. Anyway, happy guy here!!
