Where is everybody? This "should" be a great forum, but people must post. OK, I will post a couple things.

Went to my Lincoln Dealer this morning to get the oil changed on my SHO with 37500 miles. (I like my Lincoln Dealer's Service Department vice my Ford Dealer's Service Department). They did a great job. Used one of their coupons for $19.95 (normal price is $29.95) Watched the tech do the job, plus he checked the condition of the tires, brakes, etc. etc. Did not try to sell me anything I did not need.

Talked with one of their sales people and asked when will they get their 2013 MKZ in stock. Said they will start to get them in the end of September. Just wanted to know, as I'm not interested in trading either of my two cars, but I just want to see them in person, vice the photos I've seen. From the photos, I don't like the rear roofline, the pushbutton gear selector or the roof that goes all the way back. Seeing in person will make me like or dislike even more.

One additional thing that would cause me to NOT but a new Ford Product, is the MyLincolnTouch. I have Sync in both my cars. (Sync almost identical to each other in both cars). Sync is complicated enough, but at least there are still dials and switches for some functions, like radio on/off, volume, A/C settings, etc. With MLT (and MFT) it is all on the screen. I spoke with owners of other Lincolns that have the MLT and they have problems with it. In addition, I read the full report from Consumer Reports, that said words to the effect that even after having MFT for 20000 miles, they still had problems with it, even after updates. Way too complicated. (Not user friendly). My Lincoln Dealer, to their credit, has one Service Advisor who's only job is to show owners how to use MLT (and in my case, Sync). She told me she has people come in to find out just how to do a function. I've asked her how to do things on my Sync, which I still have not mastered after almost two years of ownership. Ford/Lincoln has not made it simple.

BTW, I was looking at another brand to trade and that brand also has a complicated system. More complicated than my Sync, but not quite as complicated as MLT as it does have some knobs and switches, in addition to the touch screen.(I was just looking, not trading).

OK, lets get some action on this forum.

I've seen the 2013 MKZ while I was in Dearborn a few weeks ago and WOW - it's a stunner. I actually had to do a double take while it drove by. It's THAT nice. It may not be for everyone, but it's certainly taking Lincoln in a new, less conservative directly. More in your face and aggressive.

I need one of those coupons myself!

Hey Bob, I am USA Ret, thanks for your service. I have not seen any MKZ's other than the marketing ones that are going across the country now from car show to car show. I did have the opportunity to drive one for about an hour and loved the interior and exterior.

Did you drive the MKZ from the Lincoln Dealer (Sanderson??) on Bell Road? If I remember correctly, they sell Lincoln and Volvo.

Don't matter, dealers don't have any yet. I've been hearing from them for the past three months, "two more weeks" but that is getting old. Getting an other car at the moment is out until my health gets better. Only then will I decide if I have "enough money" to buy a 2013 or 2014 MKZ. Otherwise, i'll either keep what I have, or get a Fusion.

Just finished re-reading my first post on this thread, where my dealer said they would get their 2013's in the end of September. Well, the way it looks right now, it may be true, except it would be end of September 2013, not 2012.

Every time I check, I hear the same thing, "two more weeks". :hi5:
