  1. Okay, so about 14 months ago I met a ridiculous pot hole! It did crack the rim on my 2016 Reserve (19") I managed to find a shop that was able to repair it (arch weld) which held up better than I thought it would. I was returning from a 3000 mile adventure recently and noticed the dreaded low tire pressure warning. 900 miles from home, I stopped by a local discount tire shop and the tech said that no leaks were found. Of course around 80 miles out it happened again. I did use the included green slime tire repair and it slowed the warnings down by approximately 25-30 miles. I knew that my time was up with the 19 wheels because when I initially had the pot hole incident I began searching for a replacement and 19" wheels are few and far between for the most part. I did shell out $425 for one from an e-bay dealer and what do you know was cracked too. They promptly refunded my money. So, I've opted for the ever popular 18" which offer plenty of style options at a reasonable choice. I also mated the wheels with a set of Toyo Extensa HP II (225/50-18) and they seem to offer a softer and quieter ride, and are a wlecome to change to the classic silver that seem to be on 90% of most cars. The speedometer/GPS are in sync as well with the new size! Here are the results.
  2. Anyone have a set they are looking to part with. I picked up a 2017 2.0H but I love the look of the Drivers/Magnetic package 10 spoke wheels. I am located in the Midwest in Omaha. Thanks!
  3. Hi guys. I haven't been on here in a while, just very busy with work and school. I posted a while back when I got my MKZ wrapped. Here are some updated photos of my MKZ with the new wheels I put on it. They are 20x8 Lexani Wraith wrapped in 245/40/20 Toyo's. I also have a Uniden R3 on a BlendMount on the rear view mirror that is tapped into the mirror harness so it comes on with my ignition. This is by far the best one I've had and I came from an Escort 9500IX. Next for the car I'm going to have a system put in and a custom box with 2 JLw6 10's in the trunk. I'm replacing all the door speakers with JL Audio components and I'll be eliminating the center channel as well as the rear deck speakers. This will help make for better staging throughout the car. I'm also adding an AudioControl DM-608 DSP to help with that. Thanks for checking out my post and let me know if I can answer any questions about my ongoing build.
  4. Just had my wheels black Chromed, on my 2016 MKZ <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/35debb83/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"> </script>
