Lincoln Experience 2014 The Lincoln MKZ Club, along with the Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKC clubs present the Lincoln Experience 2014. Coming this 03-04 October 2014 in Dearborn, Michigan you'll be invited to explore and take exclusive tours of some Ford facilities and participate in a vehicle driving dynamics session. Please note that at this point, this is a "Save the Date" notice and dates as well as venues are subject to change. Registration will open shortly on a first come, first serve basis with priority slots open to MKC, MKS and MKZ Club members first. 03 October 2014 • Flat Rock Assembly Plant (FRAP) The Flat Rock plant, located in Flat Rock, Michigan is home to the Ford Fusion and the Ford Mustang. Your tour will include an in-depth tour into various parts of the plant. • Ford Crash Test Lab The Ford crash test lab is where Ford recreates hundreds of collision accidents every year to support various vehicle programs. • Ford Wind Tunnel Ford's state of the art wind tunnel lab is home to six (6) tunnels and is capable of testing vehicles for any climate, altitude and wind condition. 04 October 2014 • Ford Michigan Proving Ground The proving ground sites on 3,880 acres and features a 5-mile long parabolic oval track and surfaces for various testing purposes. Your visit to the Michigan Proving Ground will include a tour of the proving ground as well as a chance to drive your own Lincoln on the vehicle dynamics area with a professional instructor. • Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate Located on the shores of Lake St. Clair, the estate was home to Edsel B. Ford and Eleanor Clay Ford. You'll be able to tour the estate, the estate grounds, see Edsel Ford's garage and enjoy a nice lunch. Ford J.D.R.F. Global Action Team Procedes from this event will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
