Has anyone ever removed this trim piece before, if so how do you do it without breaking it? Is it glued on or bolted on? On my car it has started to sag and the glue holding it onto the dash has been exposed. It looks pretty bad, I'd like to remove it and reattach it if possible.

Hey all! im new to this forum. I have a 2013 MKz 2.0T I bought back in 2015 that has 51k miles. My question is: My car is base and does not have ambient gating function in the sync 2 system. However, I see the light strips everywhere the light should come from. This got me thinking, can I simply just enable the ambient lighting with Forscan or 4D tech programmer? I’m not sure if all MKZs have the hardware installed and just need to be activated via the two options mentioned above. I appreciate you guys help in advance! -
My wife left me unsupervised and i picked up a 2016 MKZ black label. I had a 2007 before this. I was wondering if this car should show the tire pressures on the dash? I did drop the tire pressure and the tire idiot light came on also the dash had a popup screen telling me low tire and press ok. But in the others that i test drove they had a screen were you could see all 4 tire pressures. Is this a turn on? i went thru all the settings on the dash and haven't found it. Thank you Bill

this is for anyone that spent way too much time like me figuring out which LED bulbs to buy...the owners manual has some errors regarding the original replacement bulbs making this process extra special... dome light & 2 rear map lights = Phillips Festoon 43mm LED bulb 2 front map lights = Phillips 194 LED bulb the Festoon bulbs aren't that bright, but the 194's up front make up for it. license plate = 2 Phillips Festoon 38mm LED bulb puddle lamps = 2 Phillips 194 LED bulb (not the brightest but looks classy) fog lights = Nokya High Powered LED H8 H9 H11 compatible. -
At even modest volumes, my stereo causes a noticeable buzz in my interior. Of course once I notice it I can't ignore it. I seem to have traced it to the overhead sunglasses storage/interior light assembly. Has anyone else experienced this and if so have you DIY'd a fix or brought to dealer or even an aftermarket stereo place? 2013 MKz hybrid.
