Hi- New to the forum world so please direct me if I have posted this in the wrong area. I have a 2011 MKZ AWD and while looking in the power distribution box under the hood, I noticed I am missing both left and right headlamp fuses (26 & 27) as well as both left and right headlamp relays (42 & 44). All the headlamps (low beam, high beam, fog) work. The manual shows the fuses and relays. The back of the low beam lamp reads OSRAM H11 12V/55W U 64211 L+ DOT GERMANY E1 25S W387 (see picture). Does anyone have an explanation as to how the lights are working without the fuse or relay listed in the manual? Any help is greatly appreciated. I will note that I recently worked on a 2009 Escalade to find the manual was incorrect as showing a fuel pump fuse when one was not required for that specific model. Thank you

These look really interesting, but I can't find too many examples of anyone actually using them. Wondering if they would look good in my 2007 MKZ... I tried getting the Daytime Running Lamps turned on (the yellow ones which also double as the front blinker), but the dealership was unsuccessful. Thought this might be a good alternative. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the company has the 3rd Gen Halo's available for my model vehicle, which perform better in daylight. Any experience or feedback with these? http://www.nfcperformance.com/lincoln-mkz-2006-2008-oracle-ccfl-halo-kit

Hey everyone! I posted a question in one of the forums a while ago but I may have placed it in an incorrect spot to properly get feedback  Good news is, I found a solution after some extensive research! If anyone has any interest in replacing your halogen bulbs with an HID kit, let me know. Will post pics too of outcome if requested. Rudy

Hi folks - I need help finding the retaining ring that holds the headlight switch to the dashboard. The headlight switch itself is fine, but the simple plastic switch that holds it in the dashboard is broken, and the switch is hanging out of the dashboard by the wires. I can find a part number for the head light switch at fordparts.com, but it offers no clue whether it comes with the retaining ring - which I doubt, since each interior color would have to matched to the switch. Love this car in general, and do not want to let little things like this to build up. Any assistance or clarity you could add would be greatly appreciated. Cincimike
